You found out your pregnant, you're super stoked but you're just not sure what you need? I have created a comprehensive list of essentials that will get you through the early days. Personally I think it is great to buy some things second hand but don't skimp out on a mattress or car seat for bubs.

Sorry had to add in the cute pic of my daughter above
- Cot
- Mattress
- Bassinet
- Pram (With capsule attachment)to purchase a new one but cannot find the size you need you can purchase hard foam from somewhere like clark rubber - Change table (A lot of people say that they don't use theirs, however I use mine almost every change and picked it up second hand but brought a new change mat for it)
- Pram (With capsule attatchment) - Baby bath or baby bath insert (We used the bath bath and kitchen sink until she was heavy enough to go in the insert...I had an extreme fear of dropping her)
- Baby carrier and/or wrap (Perfect for when bub is small and would like to be carried around all the time, you cannot spoil a baby)
- Swaddles (Love to dream are my favourite)

- Nappies
- Wipes
- x2 Dummies even if you don't plan on using them they are great for having in the house for times in need
- Pram (With capsule attachment)
- Capsule (Make sure that particular model is compatible with the pram) - Baby bath or baby bath insert (We used the bath bath and kitchen sink until she was heavy enough to go in the insert...I had an extreme fear of dropping her)
- Some 00000 clothes and some 0000 (There is no rule to how many but they don't wear them for very long, with our first we splashed out on new born clothes and our second we bought second hand but good condition) - Nappy cream - Baby powder
- Body wash
- Pram clip (Amazing for using shopping bags if the underneath storage is quite full)

Breastfeeding needs: - Nipple cream
- Nipple gel pads
- Hakaa (For catching your let down off the other breast)
- Breast pump (If you plan on expressing or mix feeding or whatever your reasons are..I would have died from my boobs exploding off full milk a few times so 100% been worth the cost ps. I have the Spectra S1 plus) - Boon rack for after sterilising parts (absolutely not necessary but these things are the holy grail in our house, if it's not being used for pump parts or bottles, it is being used for protein shakers)
- Storage bags (if you're expressing)
Bottle feeding needs:
- At least 5-10 bottles hands down unless you want to be sterilising every time you make a bottle which I don't think you'de want to do at 2am, who would - Boon rack (Can't help myself) - Formula (An obvious one)

- Bottle brush cleaner (if you are formula feeding this is an absolute must) - Milk storage dispenser - Thermal bag for when you're out and about
